Monterrey overcomes Mazatlán in a 3-2 thriller in Liga MX Apertura Week 5

Monterrey, Mexico – August 18, 2025 – Monterrey emerged victorious in a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Mazatlán FC in Round 5 of the 2025-26 Liga MX Apertura season at Estadio BBVA. The win keeps Monterrey's strong start to the season going, maintaining their place near the top of the league standings.
